Join Hispanic-Serving Health Professions Schools (HSHPS) at the HHS/NIH June 28-30 for our Professional Development Workshop: Using Public Health Data Sets to Catapult Your Research Portfolio

Session Topics Include: Latino Health Disparities, NIH Fellowships, Pathways and PMF Fellowship, Strategies to Submit Successful NIH Grants, NIH Loan Repayment Programs, Mentoring, Networking, Pipeline Programs, Veteran's Health, Reflections from IOM about Social Determinate of Health, CDC's Hispanic Vital Signs Report, NAHANES, BRFSS, CHIS, SOL, Systematic Reviews, AND MORE! 

Target Audience: Residents, Doctoral Students, Postdoctoral Students, Fellows, Junior Faculty. However, 4th year undergrad, graduate level, and medical students are encouraged to register too. 

Registration Fees: 
$150 (professionals)
$70 (students, residents, fellows) 


ACCEPTING ABSTRACTS - Deadline June 10th
We are still accepting abstracts for our poster session on Monday June 29th. abstracts may focus on Hispanic health research (i.e., primary and secondary data analysis) and Hispanic health workforce (e.g., mentorship, internships, etc). 300 word abstracts are due June 10th. For more details, please respond to this e-mail.
