The theme of this year’s conference is “Cuidando La Salud: Safeguarding the Future of Health Care.” Saber es Poder, Spanish for “Knowledge is Power,” is meant to focus on the role of knowledge both for patients in their health education but also for young health professionals and their professional development as they navigate through their medical education. There are three main goals for our annual conference. The first is to discuss the issues facing the Latino and underserved patient populations in the changing landscape of health care in the U.S.A. The second is to develop new ideas that will help Latino health care providers to work toward solutions to these issues, as well as to improve the quality of health care for all patients regardless of background, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity. Finally we aim to promote the education and development of current and future health care professionals.

With the generosity of our financial sponsors, we are able to bring together physicians, researchers, medical students, and undergraduates in a forum to explore the many career paths in the health professions, share valuable skills and information, expose attendees to the state of health care for underserved populations, and promote productive discourse among our future and current Latino community leaders. It is therefore necessary for us to petition for sponsors who may be interested in supporting our conference through their financial support.

Included you will find our complete proposal, which delineates the pertinent details of the conference, including agenda items for the conference events and the levels of sponsorship and/or exhibition available. In addition to having a stage with our Latino audience for your institution, your sponsorship will help to shape the landscape of medicine by providing an environment where medical professionals and leaders will participate in workshops, dialogues and panels addressing the growth and development of Latinos as a patient population and as health care professionals. Thank you for your consideration.

All exhibit tables include:

  • Six-foot table for exhibition space for two people during the conference. Additional personnel can be added for an added cost of $50/ person.
  • All Conference Agenda Advertisements are 50% off the normal price for exhibitors. (see next page for prices)
